Description:

The Family Practice Physician with OB position is a full time position. This position is responsible for fulfilling a vital role in the community providing comprehensive health care to all ages emphasizing preventative health practices and disease management. Must be able to perform C-sections independently and provide case log to support application for C-section privileges. This position acts as the hub of the patient care team diagnosing and treating illness; providing routine examinations, referring to specialty services, and performing follow-up. In addition to providing quality patient care, the Family Practice Physician with OB provides medical direction to clinic staff as well as providing oversight and consults for Allied Health Professional providers. As part of a critical access hospital and rural health clinic, this position operates as support for the Emergency Department, Hospital, and OB services. Qualifications: M.D. or DO; Current license to practice medicine issued by the state of Washington; Certifications as outlined in the Medical Staff By-laws. Board Certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine. Graduate of accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

Description:

The Quality and Staff Development/Patient Safety Director position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction for multi-disciplinary workgroups, using proven performance improvement methodologies, to ensure that clinical and/or operational effectiveness, quality outcomes, patient safety and patient/family satisfaction are continuously examined and improved. This position serves as a facilitator between project teams, hospital leaders, physicians, and system leaders to promote standardization of structures, processes, materials, education and support throughout the organization.
The position provides direction for improvement activities of all the organization departments and ensures that these activities are coordinated, integrated, and implemented. This position will collaborate with the Staff development/Patient Safety Coordinator to plan/develop and ensure minimum mandatory staff educational requirements are met. Responsible for the promotion of patient safety organizational directives to ensure that regulatory requirements are met in relation to safe patient handling through collaboration through the safe patient handling committee. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a BSN degree is required. Three to five years healthcare experience is preferred. Experience in all or any areas of quality, staff development, and safe patient care initiatives. Ability to analyze medical records and to conduct medical/nursing research. Knowledge and understanding of clinical organizational structure. Candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, analytical, risk assessment, computer, statistics and math, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Duties:

• Leads the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program.
• Keeps the Medical Staff informed on the status of the CQI Program’s progress and activities and obtains its involvement and support.
• Works closely with the CNO or their designee.
• Engages the hospital-wide leadership group and staff in quality and performance improvement.
• Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with the executive team, Board, staff, physicians, management, vendors, and other internal and external customers.
• Conduct research into possible fraud and report on any findings.
• Investigate potential risks and assess those risks.
• Ensures compliance with industry standard risk management guidelines that are overseen by regulatory government agencies.
• Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues and concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
• Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.

Description:

This position is aligned within the Patient Access Department. NOC Registration Specialists work through the nights on the weekdays and days or nights on the weekends independently. The main responsibilities include independently manning the registration area of CMC during non-business hours. An employee in this role will be solely responsible for identifying patients with medical emergencies and clearly communicating either electronically by getting patients quickly registered in the computer, or verbally directly to the Emergency Department team depending on the severity of the emergency. The ability to have a keen awareness, take swift action, and effectively communicate is critical for NOC Registration Specialists. Efficiency, accuracy, and customer service are the top metrics to which a NOC Registration Specialist will be evaluated. They are the first points of contact for our patients entering the facility for care, and often the last. It is imperative that this person maintain the highest quality of patient awareness, care, and customer service. Must be proficient with Windows Operating systems and typing. The ability to learn quickly and work independently is of the upmost importance. This is a fun, but demanding position. NOC Registration Specialists work long hours often at night.
